Fall Face Mask Recipes
Let the cozy days commence! Fall is upon us and it’s time to treat yourself to some R&R. It was a long #hotgirlsummer and if you’re like us, you’re ready to throw on your fave blanket and curl up watching all of the Halloween classics (Hocus Pocus, anyone?). What better way to celebrate than with a DIY face mask, with ingredients that you already have in your fridge? We rounded up some of the top recipes for you to try at home:
Pumpkin Face Mask

When you’re done sipping on your PSL, unwind with this classic DIY mask, with ingredients you most likely have in your kitchen. Packed full of Vitamins A and C (hellur, collagen) and tons of antioxidants to leave your skin extra glowy. Just combine one tablespoon of pumpkin puree, one tablespoon of raw honey, and one teaspoon of fresh lemon juice in a small bowl, mix, and apply for 5-10 minutes, and rinse.
Coffee Mud Mask and Scrub
Long night? Decrease eye puffiness and exfoliate your skin with this two-in-one recipe. Save one cup of your morning coffee grounds and mix with five teaspoons of aloe vera gel. Apply to your face for 10-15 minutes, and rinse. If you’re feeling extra indulgent, rinse in the shower, and massage the excess recipe as an exfoliant. Did we mention that we really love coffee?
Oatmeal Honey Face Mask
With the weather cooling down, sometimes we just need our skin to chill out, too. For an extra boost of hydration and moisture, grind the oats to a fine texture. Add three tablespoons of oats and one tablespoon of hot water, and mix. Once cooled, add in one tablespoon of raw honey, and stir. Switch to your fave Netflix binge, throw on your go-to comfy fuzzy socks, and rinse after 10-15 minutes.
Apple Cider and Lavender Clay Mask

Let’s face it, we all experience minor imperfections - so beat your next break out with this super soothing mask. ACV (apple cider vinegar) carries many health benefits, including for your skin, as it acts as an antiseptic and antibacterial. Combine one tablespoon of bentonite clay, one tablespoon of ACV, and one drop of lavender oil, and apply. Leave on until it dries, about 30 minutes.
Cranberry Grapefruit Mask

We know that antiaging is all the rage, and while you’re stocking up on cranberry for this season’s feasts, save some extra for this natural exfoliant, filled with loads of Vitamins A and C. Blend one cup fresh cranberries, one cup seedless red grapes, two teaspoons grapefruit juice, and one envelope of unflavored gelatin in a blender until you get to a paste consistency. Cover and refrigerate for 45 minutes, and then let sit for 10 minutes. Apply to your face and relax for 15 minutes, then rinse.
As always, test these out on your hand first to ensure that you’re not sensitive to any of these ingredients. Then, #treatyourself.
