Back in the Habit

Our Team is Getting into a Groove This Season with Fresh Routines

Fall is fast approaching — in 22 days to be precise, but who’s counting?! Maybe it’s the old back-to-school nostalgia creeping in, or perhaps it’s just sensing the cool weather on the horizon. Either way, our team is ushering in the new season with new routines. Read on to learn more and get inspired!

MARCY

Now that her kiddos are back in school, this working mom is busy establishing their afternoon routine including having homemade dinners together at the table. She’s also focusing on meal prepping and hitting the pavement for more weekly walks.

Looking for a good afternoon routine template for kids, too? Click here.

GIANNA

Gianna is also a working mom -- plant mom, that is! Our photographer and graphics #kween is all about keeping her foliage fresh. She’s been using the app Blossom to keep up with a watering schedule and has been learning a ton about her plants in the process. They’re already thriving with this new regiment.

Want to try it for yourself? Download the Blossom app here.

AMANDA

This early bird is focusing on her morning routine this season. Amanda loves to take a sunrise walk or Cycle Bar class before diving into work, setting intentions for the rest of the day. Taking that time for herself makes her feel more productive and wakes her up (along with her favorite Starbucks latte, of course).

Amanda is definitely onto something with establishing a morning schedule. Research shows that taking some time for yourself in the AM can lower stress levels throughout the day.

RAE

Our fearless leader is known to share her love of meditation, and this season is no different. Rae is using the Calm app in the evenings to clear her mind and make way for a good night’s sleep – something she’ll be looking forward to with a new baby on the way.

Calm is our team’s go-to for guided meditation and sleep – download here

CECE

Much like Marcy, Cece also has children going back to school this month. With that comes a lot of newness, including homework for the first time ever! She’s working on finding the right evening schedule for study time and managing the emotions that come with it all.

Cece loves to follow Dr. Siggie on Instagram to help navigate challenges (ahem, battles over Common Core math) in parenting.
