Fierce Femmes: Theanna Stevens, Ellena Woodhams, and Quianna Rolston of Fresno Acura
Meet Theanna Stevens, Ellena Woodhams, and Quianna Rolston -- the powerhouse mother-daughter trio behind Fresno Acura. Mom Theanna is the dealership’s Owner, while Ellena “Elle” serves as Compliance and Outreach Director and Quianna works as Sales Manager.
When asked what it has been like as the matriarch of this thriving business, Theanna explains that being a mom doesn’t stop in the workplace. “Your children come to you for knowledge, consoling, advice, and to share the everyday events of their lives. As a working mom, it is imperative to maintain calm and find that special one-on-one time with them.”
Theanna and her three daughters work closely to drive the company every day. “Fresno Acura is the creation of my desires’ to make a difference in the automotive world,” said Theanna, “The long term vision would be for my children to carry on that creation and evolve it with their own ideas and concepts as they encounter what the industry has to offer in this ever changing industry.”
Ellena Woodhams explains that being involved in the family business gives her something to be proud of. “There is a saying that goes, ‘the ability to take pride in your own work is one of the hallmarks of sanity’,” said Ellena. “There are days that are harder than others, and there are many days where I question if I even have any sanity left. But to look back at the end of each work week and to see what we are building together, that is the ultimate pride of ownership.”
She and her two sisters are simultaneously balancing their own personal life, and doing it all with grace. Quianna Rolston happens to be a working mom who juggles the family business with a family of her own. “It is a daily balance of being the best mother for my son, making sure that he has a support system set for him, and performing at my top capacity at work,” said Quianna. “I run a sales team who counts on me just as much as my son to be present and operating on all cylinders.”
Her tip to other moms? Waking up early to get a head start. “I carve out 60-90 minutes just to myself in the morning that allows me to plan my day, organize my tasks and have quiet space before the noise of the day begins. By the time my son wakes up I feel alert and ready to win my day, and having that attitude makes it an easy transition to come to work and take the day by the reins.”
These three strong women know exactly what it takes to be a #FierceFemme - in Theanna’s eyes, that’s being fearless. “A Fierce Femme is a woman who is determined with a plan and not about to let anyone get in her way.”
